This is the audio of a sermon I preached at Beverly Alliance Church in Edmonton Alberta at a time when they were considering the denomination's move to allow women in leadership. It is edited for brevity and some of the relevant Bible verses are on screen to help listeners follow along conveniently. It is a sermon that belongs in its time and place (and is not necessarily how I'd say things now), but I'm posting it here because I get occasional requests for a representative example of the short version of the 'egalitarian' argument. I hope it is helpful for those in my church family who are still working this question out.
