Excuse My Ignorance

No pictures uploaded yet, nor internet at home, so it may still be a couple weeks until I get caught up on here, but I got a tour of my school yesterday and must make the following correction:

The picture I previously posted of my professor's office door is incorrect. Apparently there are a couple J. Websters on campus, and the door with that label which I took a picture beside does not belong to the man who will be my supervisor. Apparently this is a common rookie/tourist mistake. Ugh, how embarassing. Oh well, I'm over it.

Incidentally, my professor's office is actually right in here.

Sorry to see Scotland crash out of qualifying yesterday. But I don't remember the last time that they did qualify for anything.

As much as I do appreciate the apology Jon, I must say, I am genuinely dissapointed. My hopes, dreams and life ambitions are all but shattered. I mean...wrong door? How could you? I am shocked and hurt.

I really don't know how I'm going to get over this....please...turn away, I don't want you to see me cry....

The new door seems like it can't be anything but fantastic.

ha. Trev, this may be a setback and it may take months, but I hope I can again earn your trust in this blog's commitment to truth.

Dave: yeah they were pretty crushed on the radio when netherlands scored. you should have heard the postgame. i was sort of hoping to be able to be here for a scottish world cup entrance, but the fervor for the English team will pick up now so that'll be fun.

But who were we kidding? Netherlands? They needed to win those earlier games and didn't. They all know it. They get their hopes up high like Oiler fans, and in this case, since it is national, you kind of have to excuse them.

Yeah, you can't just drop points against Iceland and then hope to waltz into the finals.
