Thanks for your contribution to KBBC; I commented there, too, before I found your site. Although I think (a) there's more to the film than you're allowing and (b) that Christians do need films that impress upon us the horror of evil (w/o in any way glamorizing it), I nonetheless agree wholeheartedly with you (and Barth), that we must be careful not to forget that we live lives illumined by kaine ktsis . If we always sound like Ecclesiastes, and never like Isaiah, we've fallen into despair.
